PLANT KNOWLEDGE AND APPLICATION
The student should be able to comprehend the basics of landscape architecture like basic components such as vegetation, while being able to manipulate or control natural elements based of conceptual proposals.
There will be field trips to different parks and public spaces in which vegetation will be researched, observed and studied.
The course is divided in two parts:
VEGETATION
Gardens plants, Coniferous. Broadleafed plants. Palm trees, types of bushes and shrubs, Herbaceous and ground cover plants. Selection of criteria of species and new gardens species.
ORNAMENTAL PLANT NURSERY
Supply of vegetation, nursery techniques and maintaning and ordering of trees.
